Fast fishing in Big Sarasota Pass!
I have a good Siesta Key fishing report this week. Long time clients Rich Reis, his daughter Angie, and brother-in-law Hank DeYoung had a great morning of fishing in Big Sarasota Pass. We started off bottom fishing with live shrimp in structure at the north end of Siesta Key. Sheepshead were plentiful along with mangrove snapper, Key West grunts, and gag grouper. We fished through the tide change and then drifted the pass with a jig and shrimp combo. The action was fast and furious with a bunch of multiple hook-ups, mostly ladyfish but blues and other species mixed in.
