Fishing rebounded in Sarasota
Here is my latest Siesta Key fishing report. Fishing bounced back quickly on Siesta Key, after a recent front. Strong winds churned the water up a tad, but the fish did not seem to care. Snook, snapper, jacks, and ladyfish hit plugs at the north end of Siesta Key early. A move to Big Sarasota Pass resulted in fast action on ladyfish with a few mackerel mixed in by clients using small chartreuse pompani jigs. We finished up casting Bass Assassin jigs at Marina Jacks and Middlegrounds, landing bluefish, trout, and ladyfish.
