Good action in Sarasota prior to front
The unseasonably pleasant weather continued this week, but is coming to an end as out first real front moved through on Saturday. Fishing has been quite productive on the deep grass flats in Sarasota Bay at the north end of Siesta Key near Big Pass and in Robert's Bay for clients casting Bass assassin jigs, with anglers catching decent sized bluefish along with a bunch of ladyfish. Mangrove snapper and gag grouper were also caught bottom fishing in Big Pass using live shrimp. The weather is going to change and we shall see if that moves us towards our normal winter weather and fishing patterns.
