About Fishing Siesta Key

Capt Jim Klopfer has been taking clients out on Siesta Key fishing charters since he earned his USCG Masters license in 1991. He is a versatile and experienced angler who will customize the charter to the experience level and goals of the clients. Capt Jim is a prolific writer, having written hundreds of articles and 4 books. He contributes the the Siesta Sand magazine every month. All Siesta Key fishing charters include everything the anglers needs; tackle, bait, licenses, ice, water, etc. Capt Jim is a proponent of catch and release, but will fillet and bag a few fish for a meal if desired.
